Up and Beyond Adventures is the brain child of Adrian Shepherd, who was first introduced to climbing, mountaineering and water sports at the age of 4 (ish….He can’t remember too clearly!).
Adrian started teaching climbing when he was 17 and has worked as a teacher in schools and colleges for over 20 years. As well as the UK, he has taught in Thailand, China and India, where he has taught in the classroom as well as being involved in expeditions and climbing activities.
Adrian lives in Devon with his wife and 2 daughters, a cat, a very stupid dog and a goldfish he rescued from a fair.
